IT FUN PEOPLE (President & CEO Seiji Otaki, hereinafter "IFP") announced on May 1, 2019 that it has expanded its operations into Hong Kong and obtained a Money Service Operator (MSO) License, marking a significant milestone in the company's global payment business.

As one of the world's leading international financial centers, Hong Kong serves as a strategic gateway connecting Asia with global financial markets. Through its expansion into Hong Kong, IFP aims to strengthen its international payment infrastructure and accelerate the development of cross-border payment services.

The MSO License is a regulatory authorization required to operate money remittance and currency exchange services in Hong Kong. With this license, IFP is able to provide compliant international remittance and multi-currency settlement services while strengthening support for merchants and business partners operating across multiple countries.

The Hong Kong operation will serve as IFP's regional payment and settlement hub for Japan, South Korea, China, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. By collaborating with financial institutions and payment providers throughout the region, IFP plans to enhance settlement efficiency, expand payment connectivity, and support merchants engaged in international e-commerce and digital content businesses.

Seiji Otaki, President & CEO of IFP, said, "Hong Kong is one of the most important financial gateways in Asia. Obtaining the MSO License represents an important milestone in our global payment strategy. We will continue building secure and reliable payment services while expanding our international payment network."

Moving forward, IFP will leverage its Hong Kong operation to expand partnerships with financial institutions and payment partners across the Asia-Pacific region while continuing to strengthen the operational foundation of its global payment services.
